Too often the busyness of everyday life leads to compensations that accumulate into pain. Preventing pain by withdrawing from activities leads to atrophy, isolation and a reduced outlook on what you can do. One key aspect of quality of life is quality of movement. Enjoyable movement rekindles the innate desire to live spontaneously and authentically.

Coordinated, refined, gentle... these all describe Feldenkrais. Lessons bring to the foreground your subconscious sensory experience then teach ways to reduce effort and use your body more effectively. They are pain-free and have no prerequisites other than a willingness to learn.

  • History

I offer first-hand knowledge from my personal journey. A car collision fractured my pelvis, neck and ribs in 1998. Reducing pain and restoring functioning hindered from the impact took the fore as a young adult wanting to be free.

Because my sitting bone was affected, I've become a specialist in the pelvic floor by need for over twenty years. Feldenkrais, manual pelvic floor release and mindfulness meditation sustain my ability to bowl and enjoy life.
